In-Stock Default Combination

The module automatically sets each product’s default combination to a variant that is in stock. Customers see an available size or colour in the catalogue and on the product page instead of a sold-out one, which cuts unnecessary support questions and abandoned purchases. The job runs via CRON, so stock is checked even outside normal shop hours. Optionally, the module disables products that no longer have any stock left.

• Switches the default combination to the in-stock variant with the highest quantity — customers don’t start on a sold-out size or colour.
• Optionally changes the default combination only when the current default variant has 0 stock.
• Optionally disables out-of-stock products, including products whose every combination is empty.
• Runs via a CRON front controller — compatible with PrestaShop 1.7 to 9, including shops that block direct PHP access in /modules/.
• You can also run the task manually from the back office with a single click, without waiting for cron.
• Token-protected CRON URL — the job cannot be triggered without a valid link.
• Respects multi-shop and shop-specific stock, and updates PrestaShop’s cached default combination as well.
