Managing a PrestaShop e-commerce platform involves the occasional need to "clear out" the temporary storage (clearing the Smarty cache).

Why clear the cache at all?

The system stores pre-rendered parts of your pages so it doesn't have to generate them from scratch for every visitor. In certain situations, an older version of the content may be displayed until you clear the cache (template edits, module installation, display errors, or system updates).

1. Log in to your PrestaShop administration area.
2. In the left menu, go to the Advanced Parameters section.
3. Click on Performance.
4. In the top right corner, you will see a prominent Clear cache button.
