European e-commerce legislation is tightening the rules once again, bringing a critical obligation for all online store operators. The new EU Directive 2023/2673, which expands consumer protection rules (following the Omnibus package), requires e-shops to provide customers with a clear, visible, and fully automated online form to withdraw from a purchase contract.
Important security fix in our blog module
We have released an important security update for the blog module included in our templates. This update fixes potential security vulnerabilities found in previous versions. We strongly recommend updating as soon as possible.
Maintenance for Prestashop 1.6 ends in June 2019
Initially, maintenance for the 1.6 version was planned to expire in October 2018. Now Prestashop announced, that this period will be extended until 30 June 2019.
